Sleeping in the lounge tonight, because my house (and, by extension, room) has been invaded by relatives. I called my mum to tell her to leave the essentials in the lounge for when I got home from work.

I survived!
I woke up at 5:15am and my dad insisted that we take a picture of us in our gear (I’ll post it later). As we set off, half of the sky was a beautiful blue and the other, a murky grey. Separating the two was a faded rainbow- a consolation to us considering the impending storms.

I am waking up at 5:30am to leave at 6am on a 50km bike ride with my dad.
